My new best friend
Posted in Fun Stuff, Mystery Autoimmune Disease, Random on 11/23/2008 02:43 pm by Elizabeth KayleneAll I’ve wanted to do for the last few days was update, but my arms have been boycotting the keyboard position. Luckily my college is closed this coming Thursday, so I have a little extra time to get homework done. Otherwise I’d be in trouble right now. I’ve pretty much avoided the computer since Thursday, and work on Friday was agonizing.
I made a new friend this weekend. His name is Tommy. He is currently staying on my chin, and although toothpaste and rubbing alcohol have helped decrease his large size, I’m afraid he’s not leaving any time soon. I’m sure this is a byproduct of stress but I abhor zits. Oh, well. He can’t stay forever, right?
Anyway, tonight I’m going to see the Twilight movie with Mom and Kate. Lauren went to see it last night and might be coming with us again tonight. Nikki saw it Thursday night at midnight. I can’t promise that I totally won’t spoil it later on, but I’ll definitely put it under a cut.

ELIZABETH! You’ve been missed. I’ve been coming here wonderin’ when I’ll get to read something fresh. I figured you weren’t having feel good days. Welcome back though. Ha! (=- Hang tough.
I guess that means the novel hasn’t been worked on outside of your head huh? No worries. Just don’t put it aside for very long.
Okay, I’m glad to be reading something new here. Enjoy the flick. Tell TOMMY I said what’s up. Haha! (=-

@Ted: Heh, three days was entirely too long not to be blogging.
No, unfortunately I haven’t done any writing in the last few days. I haven’t even been working on my novel in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully I can get back to it this week!
Thanks. Tommy says hi.

You haven’t just been putting it off have you? You’re only allowed to not put the work in for good reasons. So I trust you have a few. I hope though that they aren’t unfortunate reasons. Hang in there buddie! (=-

@Ted: I wish I could say it was mainly because of my health — and that did play a little part — but mainly it’s a lack of discipline. I could easily make time for it when I’m not doing my homework. I just choose to read instead.
